Can empathise there to the max.
It really makes me appreciate the students who can clearly articulate what they are trying to accomplish and what they need help with.
I may sometime soon start answering “FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ ” though if I don’t go to bed and pick this up tomorrow
I actually basically started saying some stuff along those lines because, in short, it was obvious that they had neither A) read the task properly, nor B) listened when I gave them all of the advice on how to do the task. I think that’s the thing that annoys me the most: when I explain things SEVERAL TIMES and even WRITE IT DOWN for you and you still don’t pay attention and ask me questions that have been explained!
ETA: You can tell I’ve been having a not-great week in the marking department, right?
